This little hole which caused a stain in ceiling below could have been avoided if the proper materials were used in this application. This is a condensate drain from a tankless water heater. The condensate is pretty acidic and react on metal pipe and fittings. It burns a hole right through it over time. Plastic materials is recommended

Another day of water pressure issues. This time the pressure was too low at 35psi. Investigated under the house with no success, but discovered a valve box buried in front of water meter. Dug a nice big hole and replaced the pressure regulator and set a bigger valve box to keep it from disappearing and making it easier to service in future. Best part was having a driver stop by asking if I was ok thinking I passed out in yard. So much for laying on stomachs with arms in the hole. Pressure is now at 78 psi which makes for a great showering experience.

Home with high water pressure, enough for homeowner to notice. Checked it upon arrival . About 30 pounds too high calls for a trip into the crawl space to change out the old regulator with a shiny new one.
