Over the past several days, our crews have been on-site throughout Menasha helping homeowners secure their homes, install emergency tarps, and begin the long road to recovery. While we've seen an incredible amount of destruction, we've also witnessed something even greater—the strength, generosity, and resilience of this community.

Menasha is home. And that’s why we’ve been here every single day since the tornado.

This storm didn’t just impact another town on a map—it impacted our neighbors, our friends, and our own family. Endter Construction’s owner grew up in Menasha, and much of his family still calls this community home. Helping our hometown recover isn’t just our job—it’s personal.

Over the past several days, we’ve been on site helping homeowners assess damage, answer questions, and begin the recovery process.

We’ve seen firsthand the devastation this tornado left behind, but we’ve also seen the incredible strength of this community. So many people coming out to help each other in any way they can.

As cleanup continues, one piece of advice is especially important:

Please be cautious about who you hire.

Unfortunately, major storms often attract out-of-town contractors who travel from disaster to disaster. While some are reputable, others disappear once the work is done—or before it’s even completed—leaving homeowners with poor workmanship, warranty issues, or unresolved insurance problems.

Before signing anything:
✔ Verify the contractor is licensed and insured.
✔ Ask for local references.
✔ Make sure they have an established local presence.
✔ Never feel pressured to sign a contract on the spot.
