This was a very fulfilling project that we completed for one of my favorite customers (before, during, and after pictures). They are in the middle of remodeling a large portion of their home and they ask us to get involved. They wanted their staircase updated to match some of the other changes that they are making. They wanted to change the color of the staircase to match the new flooring and they wanted the newel posts to more substantial (Craftsman Style). So we fabricated some new maple posts in the workshop and installed them right over the existing posts. We had Inmar Painting Solutions re-stain all the railing parts and they painted the stair risers/skirt boards. We modified and reinstalled all the new parts and I think that the results are stunning. The last 4 photos are two wood accent walls that we installed in the Master Bedroom and the family room. The wood used for the Master Bedroom was actually reclaimed barn wood from a family farm.

These are pictures of a partial kitchen remodel that we completed in the Downtown Appleton area. The customer wanted to keep her original cabinets because they were in great shape. She just needed some extra storage and modern flair. So we added a new wall of cabinets and a center island with granite countertops. We also added a beautiful tile backsplash to the new cabinets as well as the existing. The final touch was all new lighting in the kitchen and entrance area. Sometimes the door that you want replaced is in great condition, but it is just not attractive or it doesn't fit your style. This happens to be our house in Florida and we did not care for the look/style of the glass inserts. Rather than replacing the doors, we decided to only replace the glass with a more modern rectangular insert. We also applied a frosted glass pattern that added privacy as well as adding a very sleek design element. The cost of replacing the glass vs. replacing the doors is less than 1/2. Please enjoy the before and after pictures and videos.

This kitchen remodel in Hortonville was the Apex version of "Love it or List it". While we were making plans to remodel the kitchen, my Realtor wife Tamara Van Krey was showing the homeowners condos in the area. After much debate, they decided to "Love it". In addition to completely remodeling the inside, we also added a patio door and installed new vinyl siding. If you are considering a tile backsplash for you kitchen or bathroom, please keep us in mind. This was a simple, but elegant design that we installed for a Greenville customer. We can normally install most backsplashes in 2-3 days so that you can get your kitchen back as quickly as possible.

This was a fun project that we completed last summer, but I never posted it. The first 2 pictures were taken when we started. A previous contractor started the project, but never returned to finish, so we got the call. The pillars were not very well located and they were not symmetrical on the roof line, but I think that we made it look great in the end.
