Another downtown Greenville transformation is officially complete! ✅ Team Chris’s, project manager Chris Weeks and superintendent Chris Roche, recently wrapped up the Greenville Civic Design Center upfit bringing a bold vision by DP3 Architects and the City of Greenville, South Carolina Government Design Center team to life!

The project began with a full demolition back to the studs and was completely rebuilt to include new offices, conference rooms, a breakroom, records area, open office space, and a welcoming public collaboration area.

One standout feature is the new exterior entry from the plaza. Creating a modern storefront entrance within a 50-year-old precast concrete building brought its challenges, but paired with new hardscapes and landscaping, the finished result gives the Design Center a fresh, modern presence in the heart of downtown.

What truly set this project apart was its BOLD design!! Inspired by Urban Design Centers across the country and brought to life through innovative 3D virtual design, this space could be virtually toured before demolition even began! From design and demolition to the final ribbon cutting, we’re proud of the collaboration, craftsmanship, and teamwork that went into bringing this incredible space to life🤩
