🎂 October 17, 2026, marks Tiffany Ann Orona's 36th birthday.

But instead of celebrating with her, Tiffany's family is still searching for answers about what happened to her five years ago.

💔 WHO IS TIFFANY?

Tiffany Ann Orona was last seen on October 8, 2021, at the Full Circle Treatment Facility on Parnell Avenue in Dayton, Ohio.

She was living in West Manchester, Preble County, at the time of her disappearance.

Tiffany is a mother of four. Her mother, Karen Booso-Orona, has been raising Tiffany's children while continuing to search for answers.

According to a 2024 WHIO investigation, Tiffany's family described her as someone who loved the outdoors, played softball and participated in FFA while growing up.

🚨 INVESTIGATORS SUSPECT FOUL PLAY

The Preble County Sheriff's Office has investigated Tiffany's disappearance for years.

Investigators have conducted interviews, followed up on leads, executed search warrants and used cadaver dogs.

Authorities have publicly expressed concern that Tiffany may have died and that someone knows what happened.

💰 $10,000 REWARD

In January 2026, the Preble County Sheriff's Office increased the reward to $10,000 for information that helps investigators locate Tiffany's remains.

Some of the hardest parts of search and rescue come long after the search is over.

We often find ourselves returning to those places we can never forget. Places that hold memories we only see behind closed eyes. Sometimes we simply reflect, pray for peace, and remember those whose lives were lost.

Matthew Morey was just 19 years old. A young man who deserved so many more years, memories, and moments with the people who loved him.

Behind every search are families desperately seeking answers and sheriff’s deputies, DNR officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, search and rescue teams and of course our K-9s who face heartbreaking circumstances most people never see.

When the search ends, the memories don’t simply disappear.

Closure looks different for everyone. For families, it may mean answers or the opportunity to bring their loved one home. For first responders, it may come through prayer, reflection, or simply learning to carry what they’ve experienced.

It’s something we haven’t mastered ourselves, and doubt we ever will.

But one thing remains certain: The people we search for are never just another mission. They are someone’s entire world.

Our hearts and prayers remain with Matt’s family, the first responders, and everyone whose life was touched by his loss.

FILO SAR | OPERATIONAL UPDATE

We wanted to provide a brief update to our followers and supporters.

Although we have not been posting regularly, that does not mean we have not been actively working.

FILO SAR has been assisting law enforcement with specialized cases that require the utmost discretion and confidentiality. Out of respect for the agencies involved, the integrity of their investigations, and most importantly the families connected to these cases, we will not disclose details regarding our involvement.

Any information about our work on these cases will only be shared when it is appropriate to do so through law enforcement and the proper channels.

There are times when search and rescue work can be shared publicly, and there are times when the most professional thing we can do is remain silent.

Please understand that our silence does not mean inactivity.

We remain committed to serving when requested, working professionally alongside law enforcement, and respecting the trust placed in us.

Update:

AFTER NEARLY TWO YEARS — NANCY TUCKER HAS BEEN FOUND.

Nearly two years ago, Hurricane Helene devastated East Tennessee and changed countless lives forever.

Among those who disappeared that day was Nancy Tucker.

For nearly two years, her family has lived with the uncertainty that comes with having a loved one missing. Her husband, Jimmy, was recovered shortly after the flood, but Nancy remained unaccounted for.

Today, there is finally news.

Human remains were discovered in the Jackson Island area during debris removal operations and are believed to be those of Nancy Tucker. Formal identification is still pending, but after nearly two years, there is finally hope that Nancy can be brought home and her family can begin to have the closure they have waited so long for. This is a reminder of something we have learned over and over again through search and rescue:

You don’t stop caring about someone simply because time passes.

Families don’t get to simply move on when there are unanswered questions. They deserve answers. They deserve every reasonable effort to find their loved one.

Our hearts are with the Tucker family tonight.

We pray that this discovery brings them the answers and closure they have been waiting for, and we pray for everyone who has spent countless hours searching, recovering debris, following leads, and refusing to forget Nancy.

Nearly two years later…

UPDATE (5:15 p.m., Sept. 14, 2026):

Medical Examiners have confirmed that the remains found on Saturday are those of Nancy Tucker. Mrs. Tucker was the last person missing in Washington County from Hurricane Helene.

WCSO INVESTIGATING DISCOVERY OF HUMAN REMAINS

WCSO is investigating a scene in the Jackson Island area where human remains were found by debris removal specialists. The remains are believed to be from a victim of the Hurricane Helene Flood.

The remains were taken to the medical examiner at the William Jenkins Forensics Center at ETSU. This is an active investigation and more information will be released when available.UP

Today, as we remember the lives lost and the heroes who ran toward the danger when others were running away, we also remember something that has always defined America:

We rise. We rebuild. And we do it together.

This video was taken after Hurricane Helene, standing on what remained of a washed out bridge, raising the American flag over the destruction.

The bridge was broken. Roads were gone. Communities were devastated. But even in the middle of unimaginable destruction, the American spirit remained.

We have seen it time and time again. Whether it is a terrorist attack, a hurricane, a flood, a collapsed building, or a missing person we may be knocked down, but we don’t stay down.

We come together.
We help our neighbors.
We answer the call.
And we rise again. 🇺🇸

Today, we also want to take a moment to recognize our teammate and brother, Charlie, who runs and operates GB-Rescue, bringing advanced drone and sonar technology to searches and rescues. His equipment and expertise can make an incredible difference when the situation demands more than traditional search methods.

But what many people don’t know is that Charlie was also one of the first responders to the World Trade Center following the attacks of September 11th.

Charlie, thank you for your sacrifice, your service, and your continued willingness to put yourself in difficult places to help others.
