Running a small business takes a lot of hard work, long days, and sacrifice, but it also gives us moments that make it all worth it.

Getting to spend time with family out on beautiful Lake Jocassee was one of those moments. It was a good reminder of how thankful we are for the people who continue to support us.

To every customer who has trusted us in their home, recommended us to a friend, left a review, or called us back for another project, thank you.

Your support allows us to keep growing, keep serving our community, and keep building a life we are proud of for our family.

Excited to be working with WWW Construction LLC on another awesome custom project! This unused attic space is being transformed into a functional space for the family with extra storage, cool lighting, an outlet for a TV/games, and a beautiful tongue-and-groove wood finish.

We love being part of unique projects that bring a homeowner’s vision to life. Stay tuned for the final reveal on this one!

Today’s episode of ā€œWho wired this and what were they thinking?ā€

This is a 100 amp feeder to a detached garage, ran exposed with no protection, then brought through the drywall instead of being properly routed into the panel.šŸ¤¦šŸ¼

If that feeder ever gets damaged it could cause a serious arc, energize the metal, or create a fire hazard. Stuff like this is why we always say: just because it works does not mean it is safe.

Whether you’re buying, selling, or already moved in and working through a repair list, Ford’s Electrical can help knock out the electrical punch list safely and correctly.

We avoid cutting into drywall as much as possible, but sometimes framing, studs, or joists make it necessary.

Most of the time, Kyle can fish wires without opening the wall at all. But when drywall access is the best option, we keep it:

• Minimal
• Controlled
• Clean
• Easy to patch afterward

A clean cut now makes for an easier repair later. With dust control and precise cuts, the room stays clean and the wall is ready for patching.

Check out this before picture! šŸ”„ 🧯

A small fire next to the electrical panel damaged the old equipment bad enough that it had to be completely replaced. Thankfully, the homeowners were able to get the fire out quickly and save the home from much worse damage.

We were glad we could help get their power safely restored after everything they had already been through!

These modern wood-tone ceiling fans were the perfect fit for this home. Clean, simple, and just enough of that warm boho style to make the rooms feel finished.

For this chandelier we meticulously assembled over 300 individual crystals. It took a lot of time and patience, but the final result was worth it. The sparkle is chef’s kiss. 🤌✨

It's officially been a year since Kaitie started working with me. I’ve been blessed that I was able to bring her on full time, and since then we’ve had our busiest year on record! šŸ’Ŗ

She’s been a huge part of helping Ford’s Electrical grow, whether that’s helping me in the field or keeping things moving behind the scenes. Electrical work isn’t something you learn overnight. It takes patience, repetition, and a lot of real-world experience.

Proud of how far we've come, and excited to keep building Ford's Electrical together!

These columns are beautiful… but they were missing that finishing touch. We added the lights on the top and now the whole entrance pops, especially at night! We added a photo cell so they automatically turn on and off.

Lighting is one of those small things that makes a big difference. Call us today for a free estimate.
