Finished this a couple weeks ago. Antigue Standard Sewing Machine company cast iron base with a poplar top finished with cutting board oil. It would make a great entry way table or small coffee station.

Here's another project on the schedule that I'm not sure what to use for the top. It's a vanity, wash basin cabinet originally crafted by Chittenden and Eastman Manufacturing of Burlington, IA. I'm not sure of the age of this piece but I believe it's from the 40's or 50's. All wood and dovetail construction makes me think it's from that period.

My plan is to strip, sand and paint it and then figure out what I want to put on it for a top. Quartz and granite would look very nice.

If anyone is interested in this project and would like to design it the way you'd like please contact me and we'll discuss it.

Next project up is turning this antique sewing machine base into a table. The base will get a power wash and a coat of fresh paint. I haven't decided what I'm going to use for the top, maybe a piece of a beam that I rescued from a 100+ year old barn scheduled to be torn down. Live edge slab, Quartz or granite would look very nice also.

Entrusted with this 6 generation rocking chair for repairs. 6 generations of moms have rocked their babies in this chair. 7th generation is due in June.

Broken rocker arm and seat. Picked up a piece of Sycamore to replace the broken rocker leg. I haven’t quite figured out what I’m going to do with the seat.

New deck for a customer. It’s coming along pretty well, should finish this week depending on the weather.
