It's Homecoming week at Grinnell High School for Grinnell Tiger Athletics! 🎉 That means it’s time to reminisce about Friday night lights, pep rallies, and of course, those graduation days.

At Hawkeye Lock, GHS pride is a family affair! Co-owner Jennifer and valued employee (and son!), Isaiah, are both proud Tiger alums. While some people look forward to "coming home" this week, we feel lucky that we never had to leave! 🧡🖤 Flip through the pics and take a walk down memory lane with us. 🐯

We hope to celebrate Homecoming with you at the Grinnell Homecoming Parade on Thursday, October 1st in downtown Grinnell at 5:30 p.m.

🏡 Local supporting local! 🔑

The Hawkeye Lock team has been hard at work in downtown Grinnell helping an exciting new business get ready for their grand opening: The Little Local

Safety and security are essential for building a great community space, and our technicians have been on-site getting everything dialed in:

🧲 Technician Isaiah is busy installing the high-tech magnetic lock for the front entry.
🛠️ Technician Kevin is custom-fabricating a secure housing box for the exterior keypad.

We absolutely love collaborating with fellow small businesses to ensure their spaces are safe, secure, and ready for customers. Supporting our community truly makes us all better!

Speaking of community, The Little Local is building an amazing one of their own. 😉🏡 They are opening a fantastic new engaging activity zone for children!

👉 Head over to their page to get all the details about their Open House this weekend and show them some local love!

📞 Need commercial, residential, or automotive security solutions? We do it all—from unlocks and high-tech access cards to custom troubleshooting.

Do you know where your extra set of keys are if you misplace them at the golf course???

VESPA Rescue! This project started as an unlock for a storage compartment. The customer was hoping that they had locked their keys inside, but they were not there. The scooter got to spend the night in the shop and then we made keys for the ignition and the back trunk. We also had to remove the ECU and modify the immobilizer to accept the new keys (the ignition key has a chip). Our OBDStar Keymaster has programming options for several of the newer motorcycle keys that have chips and remotes. We also rescued a Kymco scooter the same day when the owner broke his only key!

🌬️Saving a wind whipped door 💨It's always "wind season" in Iowa. Wind can be hard on doors.

Today we Installed a continuous hinge plus a LCN 4040XP closer with spring cushion arm. This hardware will limit the door from blowing open, hitting the brick, and bending the door. 👍

Does your business door need some "wind proofing"? We would be happy to take a look and share some options. Contact the office to schedule a technician to take a look. 🕵️‍♀️

Disclaimer - We're not responsible for the mess on the drywall. 😂 That is where their old closer was mounted.
