I may catch flack for this and I do not care.
Most major insurance carriers are NOT on your side. The goal is to underpay and/or deny claims. It is literally the business model of most major carriers - why do you think State Farm is under such fire for their mishandling of claims, all while maintaining BILLIONS IN PROFIT annually? (State Farm reported a PROFIT of over $12 billion dollars in 2025 alone).

That said - if you have damage from the storms today, call a trusted contractor who specializes in insurance mitigation BEFORE calling your insurance company. 80MPH winds, hail and tornados today are no joke. We live in this community, and we care about our neighbors.

At this point, getting a code violation is a GC rite of passage. 😂 I see way too many GC residents paying out of pocket to address code violations for things that are actually storm damage related.

This roof took a beating from the recent windstorms. After a thorough inspection and reviewing all of his options, the homeowner decided that filing a wind damage claim was the best path forward for his situation.

I’ll be there every step of the way, including meeting with the adjuster to make sure all storm-related damage is properly documented and evaluated.
