We here at Ulisky Slate Roofing Services, LLC are gearing up for the 2018 work season...now that it would appear the snow is done!!

Over the course of the 2015 and 2016 seasons, Ulisky Slate Roofing Services spent a good portion of time at the Heinz Mansion, currently the Warwick Foundation, in Pittsburgh, PA. There were lots of flat roofs, lots of basins and lots of pointing going on!!

Ulisky Slate Roofing Services spent part of the summer working on this magnificent house. The view was quite stunning and so is this cut stone house, with a slate and copper roof and a custom gutter and down spout system this place was a pleasure to be working at. Our youngest team member even made it out between naps and diapers!

This handsome house is where Ulisky Slate was this summer. Replacing over 100 feet of the closed valleys, flashing all four of the chimneys on the roof by removing the old flashing from around chimney and replace with new copper flashings. Two of the chimneys had large crickets behind them and required flat locked and the soldered seams.

The slates on this roof were huge!

They also installed 300 plus feet of custom fabricated copper ridge over all hips and ridges of the roof.

Previously roof cement and/or tar had been used to seal up the hips, ridges and valleys.
