Here’s a client that needed saving! I can’t stress enough how important it is to make sure you have a reputable contractor that you hire. I had to totally take out the windows and reinstall them. Doing so I found that they used regular pine to trim the exterior, no flashing was used, windows were crooked, and on the inside the drywall joining up to the ceiling crown and baseboard had huge gaps, as well as the window trim on the inside was horrendous! Thankfully they got in touch with me before the windows rotted out and I was able to get them squared away the right way this go around so they don’t have to worry anymore. Please quiz you contractor to make sure they know what they’re doing as well as ask for previous work pictures or clients information to see if they’re the right fit for you!
