Don't be fooled by the rain and sleet and "lower snow totals"! These conditions are making the snow 3X more difficult. Extremely slick out there! Do not make an attempt to go out!

The snow/mix line has moved west a bit, it will make the snow very heavy later this afternoon. 12" of snow with rain on top will be harder to move than 18" of pure snow. Don't be fooled, lower totals does not mean a less impressive storm!

The storm track for Tuesday looks to be right on schedule with what has been predicted. Very heavy snow mixed with near hurricane forced winds. This storm will take a very long time to get roads, parking lots and driveways cleared. Hunker down and expect to be snowed in all day and night Tuesday! Prepare for lots of power outages! Stay off the roads at all costs and let snow removal contractors do their job! Enjoy the beauty of this winter wonderland!

As you all know, there is a major storm system heading our way Tuesday-Wednesday. This will not only dump large amounts of snow, but will also come with strong winds of 60+ MPH. Do not plan on going anywhere until Thursday. This storm will take state, local, and private contractors all day Tuesday, all night Tuesday and all day Wednesday to get roads, driveways and parking lots cleared. Sit tight and prepare to be snowed in for a couple of days. Enjoy the beauty of the snow!
