I highly recommend this gentleman to help you with tree problems & clearing limbs, etc. He cleaned off my roof, cut broken & damaged tree limbs, etc. Has equipment to move & clean your property.

We are open & if you have no cell or internet connections maybe you could get a friend to let us know. Praying you had no damage & trees did not fall to cause damage. We have an oak tree that pulled up ground & will have to wait to see if it lives. Also, big limb that man said it weighted a thousand lbs. Thankful no other damage. If your home had our termite treatment & you lost protection most insurance companies pay to apply another treatment.

We are safe & no damages. We have one employee waiting for power & in area hard hit. His storage house lifted up & all trees down. We will be at work this Friday. I pray all of you are safe & back on the road to full recovery. Remember, to pray for
linemen & workers here, as well as our military & their families returning home. We are so blessed the eye did not hit us like forecast.

I need this rain gone. Stopped all termite treatments; plus our farmers are in harvest season. My farm covered in beautiful cotton needs to dry out. This is unusual time to rain.

"Rain, rain go away, Come again another day. Rain, rain go away, Little Johnny wants to play."

The poem “Rain, Rain, Go Away” dates back to at least the 1600s, with the earliest version recorded by James Howell in 1659. But its origins reach even further back to 1588—to the era of Queen Elizabeth I and England’s clash with Spain. The rhyme is often linked to the defeat by the British Navy of the Spanish Armada, when a powerful storm helped scatter the invading fleet. Early versions of the poem included the line, “Rain, rain, go to Spain,” referencing that moment in history.

Tonight's show will be the rare occasion when I do a topical show. After all the rain we've had lately, I couldn't help but be thinking of rain while putting together this show. (In fact, I think it rained for 90% of the time I was working on it.) You can certainly dance to this playlist, but please make sure you aren't doing a rain dance. I think we've had enough of that!

Our playlist will include tracks from Alison Krauss & Union Station, Willie Nelson, Randy Newman, CCR, Fleetwood Mac, Sting, Keb' Mo', Grateful Dead, Dan Fogelberg, Ringo Star And His All-Starr Band, Eric Clapton and many, many more.

Tune in to 97.9 FM The Buzz at 7:00 PM for Mix Tapes with Paul Tarver. Put on your raincoat and rubber boots because we're going to playing in the rain tonight! Be kind and invite your neighbors.

And remember—Rock ’n’ Roll Should Be Shared, so turn it up!
