Hi, this is Mike, I am the owner of Carnley Construction. I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know what we do. Years ago I could advertise in the phone book, but times have changed and social media is the new way to advertise, so here we go. We are a licensed homebuilder with the state of Alabama, and have all the necessary insurance. We do everything from building new homes, remodeling, painting, decks, and flooring. 🛠️ Balcony support beam replacement done right 🛠️

This balcony had severe rot in the main support beam caused by long-term moisture exposure. We safely removed all compromised wood, temporarily supported the structure, and rebuilt it from the inside out.

✔️ All rotted material removed
✔️ New pressure-treated structural lumber installed
✔️ Proper spacing, drainage, and isolation from moisture
✔️ Reinforced connections for long-term strength
✔️ Built to prevent rot from happening again — not just cover it up

This isn’t a patch job. It’s a structural fix designed to last in a coastal environment. If you have sagging, soft, or questionable balcony posts or beams, now’s the time to address it before it becomes a safety issue.
