Spent part of the day at the Orange Beach Welcome Center touching up a few doors and knocking out some handyman repairs.

Had to stop and admire this mural while we were there. Whoever painted it absolutely nailed it. 👏

One of the things I like about living down here... even a quick service call comes with a pretty good view. ☀️🌴

Welp...spring is over. It was nice. 🌡️

🌴 Ended the day the best way possible on the Gulf Coast 🌅

Started the morning over on West Beach at Island Winds East knocking out a full interior repaint. Got into some bathroom ceiling repairs, scraped back failing areas, and started some popcorn removal as well. Lots of prep today but good progress made 💪

Finished out the evening all the way at the end of Fort Morgan at The Plantation getting ready for a new shiplap wall install. Removed a wall full of mirrors today…

I don’t remember mirrors feeling this heavy in my 40s 😂

Did get rewarded with a beautiful sunset on the drive out though. Almost made up for it 🌅🚚

Bathroom moisture issues are no joke on the Gulf Coast 😅

If paint is flaking, cracking, or bubbling in a bathroom, there’s usually moisture getting trapped behind the coating. A lot of times it comes down to poor ventilation, skipping primer, or using the wrong paint.

Good prep + a quality bonding primer + moisture resistant paint can make a huge difference in how long it lasts. Especially in bathrooms that see a lot of humidity and steam.

Not every peeling ceiling is just “bad paint.” Sometimes the surface underneath needs attention too.
