Thank you so much for the kind words! ❤️ We truly appreciate you trusting Bateman Heating & Air to help take care of your guests. We know that when the AC goes down during the Alabama summer, every minute counts. We’re always happy to do our part to get everyone comfortable again as quickly as possible.
It’s a pleasure working with a team that genuinely cares about providing a great guest experience. Thank you—we’re always just a phone call away! 🏖️❄️
This is a long winded appreciation post, for all of our team members across 4 states, that step up often at a moments notice- during the busiest travel times of the year!!!
We do NOT do this alone, they are the driving force of keeping our guests happy on a daily basis.
The past two weeks have been more eventful than normal, our routines keep things in order- but with peak temps at the beaches & full calendars in the mountains the urgency of things heighten at a moments notice!
The past weeks events….
⛰️ Sunday River, Maine
Our dishwasher broke, and the new one arrived unannounced & damaged while a guest was there. The same time our newly installed spectrum internet completely failed, leaving guests without WiFi for a few days, which is never fun in the mountains!
Our guys at Construction Caterers got the unannounced dishwasher installed the next day, and came back the following day to assist with the Internet fix. There’s rarely a time I call them, that they don’t immediately rise to assist!
I’ll also mention our amazing new cleaning team, they’re on point & so pleasant to deal with! T&B Custom Clean!
🌊 Gulf Shores Alabama
As you can imagine, high temps and increased humidity- and a constantly revolving door, can mean AC failure at a moments notice! Guests are quick to alert us when this happens, and I immediately alert Will at Bateman HVAC- he’s there within hours, and works until the problem is fixed. I always appreciate that, and it helps ease guests knowing a solution is on the way.
🏖️ South Carolina:
Long story short. We have two washers. One broke last week- new one is arriving Saturday 7/11. Yesterday…the 2nd and last remaining working washer broke!! In a house with 18 guests- this is no bueno.
I found a washer on Facebook marketplace, our handyman Andy paid for the washer and helped install it that same evening for the guests, after working a full day at his FT job! Happy guests were the result.
🐻 Vermont:
The neighboring bears couldn’t get the bear proof dumpster open, so they yeeted it over backwards instead!
I called Taylor and he was able to go over and pull it back upright with a truck and chain, our Hot Tub crew alerted us it was tipped over, or else guests would have no doubt arrived confused 🙃
🦞 Mount Desert:
Ants are inevitable when you live in rural Maine, there’s always a few that get in and you deal with them us as they come with traps or treatment. Our cleaning team left the house ant free Tuesday, guests arrived to an abnormal about of them especially in the game room/entry areas- justifiably concerned of course.
I called everywhere for pest control this morning. Left a message at Nate’s Pest after calling 6 others, and immediately got a call back. He was there within the hour, and found/treated a giant carpenter ants nest where the house and garage join in the back.
Our cleaning team Trundys Cleaning stepped up to go back by the house today for a touch up cleaning after the ant invasion.
😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨
I know all of these things can be a frustrating interruption to their routine, I’m forever grateful for how all of our team members show up for us.
THANK YOU!!!
I’m going to tag as many of them as I can find on Facebook in the comments 😊
And an equal thank you to the gracious guests, who bear with us through it all 💙
