👉☄️ LOOK UP TONIGHT AND TOMORROW!

☄️THE ORIONID METEOR SHOWER IS HERE! 🌠

Get ready for a beautiful celestial display! The Orionid meteor shower is reaching its peak on the nights of October 20–21, 2026, bringing bright shooting stars across the night sky.

✨ Where Do These Meteors Come From?

The Orionids are created by tiny particles left behind by Halley’s Comet. When these fragments enter Earth’s atmosphere at high speeds, they heat up and glow, creating stunning streaks of light. Some meteors may even leave glowing trails behind them.

🌠 How Many Meteors Can You See?

Under dark skies with clear weather, you may spot around 20 meteors per hour, although the actual number can vary depending on viewing conditions.

🌙 Best Time to Watch

For the best chance of seeing the Orionids, head outside after midnight and continue watching until dawn. Find a dark location away from city lights and give your eyes about 20–30 minutes to adjust to the darkness.

✨ Look up, relax, and enjoy one of October’s most beautiful astronomical events!

🍂🥶 FALL IS ABOUT TO MAKE AN IMPACT!

A strong cold front is expected to bring a significant cool down to Mississippi next weekend!

The GFS model is showing lows in the 30s by Sunday morning (Oct. 18), while the EURO weather model remains a little warmer.

Still some uncertainty on just how cold we’ll get, but a nice taste of fall is looking likely! 🍁
