Unfortunately we did not get the Master Gardeners needed for the classes. We will try again next spring. With the limited Master Gardens we have at this time we are putting everything on hold until then.

We had planned on cleaning up the Flag Park in Ho**er tomorrow, but because of the windy forecast we are reschedule that for next week. We will now meet at the Flag Park in Ho**er at 6:30pm on Tuesday, March 25th for this community clean-up. See you next week!

You may have this pretty, purple native plant in bloom in your yard, otherwise known as Henbit. Your yard service will tell you that they’ll be right out to spray it with w**d killer. BUT…This plant is needed by bees that are just waking up and searching for food sources, and this is all that’s available until trees and other flowers bloom. If you can possibly resist, please leave it for now. Actually, henbit will die on its own when the weather gets too hot. The bees will thank you! 🐝
