SECOND OPINIONS MATTER — AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHY.

The Payne family in Blaine called another HVAC company for an AC problem. The actual repair? A bad capacitor.

But while they were there, they checked the furnace and told the homeowners it was BAD and needed to be replaced.

They called Top Tier for a second opinion.

We inspected it thoroughly.

There was NOTHING wrong with the furnace.

Was it 25 years old? Absolutely. Was it nearing the end of its expected life? Absolutely.

But old doesn’t mean broken.

We told the customer the TRUTH: “You don’t need to replace this furnace.”

They later called us back and said, “Let’s do it anyway. I trust you.”

So we replaced it — and while we were at it, corrected the terrible existing transition and replaced the filter assembly.

And once that old furnace was sitting on the floor where we could inspect it even further? STILL NOTHING WRONG WITH IT.

Telling someone, “Your furnace is 25 years old and you should consider replacing it” is honest.

Telling someone, “Your furnace is bad and NEEDS to be replaced” when it isn’t is something completely different.

This industry has enough companies using fear to sell equipment.

We’re not going to be one of them.

We’d rather lose a sale by telling you the truth than make one by lying to you.

🔥 Another Blaine Home Upgraded to High-Efficiency Heating & Cooling! ❄️

The Mahanna residence in Blaine called us last week after their A/C stopped working and kept tripping the breaker.

After some careful diagnostics, we found the problem: the compressor had burned out, and the electrical connectors were actually burned right off the compressor.

With an aging system, putting money into a compressor replacement didn’t make much sense. We presented the homeowners with several options, and they decided to upgrade to a Daikin FIT heat pump paired with a 98% efficient modulating furnace.

And with the incentives available right now, this system made a lot of sense:
