On this we are showcasing a property that we recently completely transformed!

The crew ripped out all of the old plantings, edging and the entire front lawn before installing new plantings, redesign the front landscape bed, and installing fresh sod for instant gratification.

The Twins Are Taking Over!

We are excited to announce that Twins Lawn Care is expanding our service area! Recently, we have joined forces with Total Lawn Care and Snow Plowing of North Branford.

Total Lawn Care and Snow Plowing is a well respected landscaping company that has been in business for over 25 years. We will be taking over all lawn maintenance and landscaping services, but combining crews for snow and ice management operations.

In addition to our Hamden shop location, we recently opened a North Branford shop location. We will be offering our services to both residential and commercial customers in, but not limited to: Hamden, North Haven, Northford, North Branford, Branford, East Haven, and Guilford.

With this big expansion, we have purchased more trucks and equipment as seen in some of the pictures above and had to hire more employees; in addition to developing a new website that will launch soon. We have systems in place to make this expansion seamless to all of our customers. There will be some growing pains of course, but we will navigate them as best as we can while still keeping our customer needs our top priority.

Today, we wrapped up our 2024 landscaping season! We can’t thank our loyal customers enough for the continued support over the years.

Also, a BIG shoutout to our amazing crew because without their hard work and dedication, we couldn’t continue to grow and provide quality service.

The crew just completed our last landscaping job of the season! They pushed back the brush-line about 15 feet taking down small trees, vines, and debris.

The remainder of our landscaping season will be focused on fall cleanups from now right until the week leading up to Christmas (weather permitting). We have all the tools and manpower to tackle cleanups of any size and shape, including a vacuum truck to take the leaves away!

This has to be one of our biggest complete property makeovers to date! This property was neglected for over 10 years. We completely transformed it by removing brush, plantings, vines, and an entire back section of trees that overtook a rotten playset which we also dismantled and hauled away. Added fresh mulch to give it a crisp look too.

With the help of our good friend, Cartier’s Pressure Washing Services , not only does the landscape look appealing, so does the entire house as well which needed a washing badly.

On this last Makeover Monday of summer, we completely changed the front and backyard part of the property. The front yard received a much needed weeding, re-landscaping, and mulch. For the back, we cut down a large section of overgrown trees and brush in the wooded area to extend the property back. With the right team and equipment, a big job like this went quick and smooth. Who’s next?!

We hope everyone is having a great summer! This is our first post in a while.

Today the crew tackled a commercial property, a local Advance Auto Parts store. The property was an eyesore, to the point where the sign on the building wasn’t even visible from the sidewalk! The team worked hard to complete this makeover and the store manager was stunned!

The fleet and crew is ready! Gearing up for a long night-day ahead of plowing. We haven’t had a decent size storm like this in a few years. With new accounts, equipment, and crew members, we greatly appreciate your patience as each storm is different and can bring challenges along with them. We are NOT taking on any more accounts at this time. Stay safe and enjoy the snow!

And just like that, the 2023 landscaping season comes to a close! We finished the last of our fall cleanups today then cleaned and organized our shop and equipment. Here are some pictures from our landscaping season. From tackling bigger landscaping projects and new equipment, to some lunch dates with the crew, it has been a fun and productive season from start to finish.

After the holidays, we will finish our final snow prep as we wait for the to snow fly! We are also all booked up for plowing.

We wanted to thank our loyal customers for their continued support over the years. We continue to grow because of the amazing customers we are lucky to service. Another BIG thanks to our entire crew for their hard work and dedication throughout the season. Without them, there’s no us.
