Responsibilities:

· Grow and build long-term client relationships in order to maintain and grow company sales

· This position requires continuous business development, building sales strategy, competitive advantage.

· Continually develop and maintain a project backlog for the company.

· Pursue sales opportunities focusing on the Cincinnati, Dayton, Northern KY area.

· Assist clients with selection, planning, estimating, pricing, product specification and presentation, and value engineering for complex projects.

· Develop and maintain long term relationship with End users, architects and general contractors.

· Be the “Face” of our company by deep project engagement to manage labor productivity, quality and professionalism. Be able to communicate with the customers, project managers, superintendent, and construction engineers to ensure intended design is delivered.

· Project manager is ultimately responsible for the craftsmanship, profitability, and operational success of the project and to ensure company mission is delivered.

· Proficient in project management and CRM software.

· Understand and negotiate the project schedule with the client and internal teams to develop appropriate game plans and strategy to bring the project to successful completion.

· Procure materials in timely manner to accommodate project schedule and monitor the schedule to proactively plan the projects.

· Create installation subcontracts or labor force budget within the project estimated values.

· Work with internal operational team to determine best suited installers based on skill level, project size and availability. Provide a field productivity expectation summary.

· Create shop drawings and installation work orders for the field operation.

· Attend project meeting and solve any issues concerning the project.

Requirements:

· Must be have flooring product knowledge

· commercial flooring experience is preferred but not required.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Polished and professional.

· Working knowledge of MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM (salesforce).

· Experience in Callidus or any estimating/drafting software, or a willingness to learn.

· Ability to read commercial blueprints, specification and interpret specifications and scope of work.

· Ability to troubleshoot, take direction, manage priorities and multi task.

· Detail oriented, strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Position Description:

At Axis, the Project Manager is tasked in facilitating and monitoring successful completion of individual commercial projects from the beginning through the close out. Essential Functions:
• Use specialized flooring software to perform quantitative take offs.
• Complete in detail the submittal / shop drawing process for the project in a timely manner and submit for approval and resubmittal if necessary.

• Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment and billings for the project.

• Schedule material delivery strategically to the job site with logistic department and coordinate with construction teams.
• Be the “Face” of our company by being onsite to manage labor productivity, quality and professionalism. Be able to communicate with the customers, project managers, superintendent, and construction engineers to ensure intended design is delivered.
• Inspect quality of workmanship to make sure proper installation procedures and tools are being used.
• Inspect safety to make sure proper safety procedures are being followed.
• Attend project meeting and solve any issues concerning the project.
• Project manager is responsible for the craftsmanship, economical, and operational success of the project.

Skills Requirement:

Construction Delivery Driver & Material Handler

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Driving delivery trucks – 26’ box trucks – to construction job sites. (Non-CDL)
• Performs pre-trip inspection including walking around truck for visuals before equipment is used, documenting inspection.
• Checks all product loads before departure assuring product Quantity and Quality and work order request matches.
• Determines most efficient and safest route before departure to make on time delivery.
• Examines job sites for safety and operational hazards, discussing any obstacles with senior job site personnel.
• Gets all proper signatures on paperwork after completion of delivery.
• Communicates with dispatcher before leaving job site for further instruction on next assignment.
• Upon return to warehouse, empty and clean truck, then reload for next delivery (same day or next morning).
• Assists in helping with customer loading in warehouse when necessary.
• Assists warehouse personnel in putting away material and general warehouse and yard housekeeping.
• May be asked to assist in maintenance and up keep of facility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:
• Valid insurable driver’s license required.
• DOT medical card.
• 26’ Delivery truck driving experience – Non-CDL.
• Lifting and carrying of materials.
• Driving fork lifts to load and unload.
• Certified operation of lull or any hoisting equipment (preferred).
• Ability to read shipping tickets and inventory lists.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description
Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our commercial flooring warehouse team. Must be able to work with a team and independently. Commercial flooring knowledge preferred.

Below are some of the responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:

1. Load and have trucks ready for departure with all necessary paperwork by shop closing time, the day prior to delivery.

2. Unload vendor deliveries.

3. Properly process shipping tickets (outgoing).

4. Receive material in from vendors (incoming).

5. Approve PO before ordering for inventory verification – get with Purchasing Agent.

6. Cleaning:

a. Use magnet around the dumpster to remove nails/screws and trash once a week.

b. Clean warehouse floor and empty trash bi-weekly.

c. Clean dock areas outside weekly.

7. Maintain an accurate inventory of sundries and stock materials in the warehouse.

8. Assist in tool management by communicating with Logistics about tools returning from projects. Assist in tool tag tracking and storage of tools in tool storage area.

9. Building maintenance.

10. Any other responsibilities as assigned by Warehouse Manager.
