🥳 National Roofing Week: Celebration 🥳

As National Roofing Week comes to a close, we are taking a moment to reflect on what makes this week worth celebrating.

It is the people who show up every day, the work that challenges us, and the pride we take in doing things the right way.

Throughout the week, we highlighted the projects, the training, and the effort behind it all. But at the center of it is a team that continues to raise the bar.

We are proud to be part of this industry and grateful to everyone who plays a role in the work we do. It is all part of delivering something that is built for you.

🦺 National Roofing Week: Employee Training 🦺

The work we do requires more than experience. It takes a commitment to keep learning and improving every day.

Training at Korellis starts early, but it does not stop there. From hands-on learning in the field to daily conversations on the jobsite, our teams are constantly building on what they know.

It is about staying sharp, looking out for one another, and making sure every job is done the right way.

That investment in our people is what allows us to deliver work that is built for you.

👷‍♂️ National Roofing Week: Employee Appreciation 👷‍♂️

Today is about the people who show up every day and make this work possible.
Across our roofing, sheet metal, masonry, and carpentry teams, there is a level of skill, focus, and pride that you cannot fake. It is learned over time, earned through experience, and proven on every job.

It is not easy work. It takes long days, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things the right way, even when no one is watching. And it does not stop in the field. Our office and support teams play just as important of a role in keeping everything moving.

When it all comes together, that is what makes the difference.

We are proud of the work we do, but even more proud of the people behind it and the way they represent Korellis every single day.

❤️ National Roofing Week: Charitable Projects ❤️

Some of the most meaningful work we do happens outside the jobsite.
Over the past year, we have worked alongside organizations like South Suburban Humane Society, United Way, Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, Purdue Northwest, Fresh Start Market, Phil’s Friends, The Salvation Army USA, Ronald McDonald House Chicago, and Lowell Baseball - Lowell IN, just to name a few.

From donation projects to volunteer days, each opportunity is a chance to give back in a real way.

Because the work we do is not just built for buildings, it is built for community.

✨ National Roofing Week: Signature Projects ✨

Some of the projects we take on happen in environments most people never see. Nuclear-related facilities, research campuses, and other highly controlled sites where every detail matters.

There is no shortcut for that kind of work. It takes experience, discipline, and a team that knows how to adapt without compromising quality.

That is what we bring to the table, every time, with solutions that are built for you and the demands of your facility.

Hanover Central High School - Building Trades Day

We got a call from Hanover Central High School about Building Trades Day, and within two days, our team partnered with SRS Distribution Inc. to donate all the materials and get onsite.

We worked with about 20 students, walking them through how to dry in and shingle a roof. They picked it up fast and weren’t afraid to jump right in.

A couple of students even followed up afterward, asking about jobs. That’s what it’s all about!

We’ll be heading back to donate our time and finish the project, but we’re proud to have been part of it.

Big thanks to De Wet Coetzee and the entire SRS team for jumping in with us.

We’re proud to share that Pete Korellis has been inducted into the The Times of Northwest Indiana Business & Industry Hall of Fame.

From working out of a childhood home to helping grow Korellis into what it is today, Pete’s story is at the core of who we are.

He’s always been quick to credit the people around him, from family to employees to the community that supported us along the way. That mindset continues to shape how we operate today.

His leadership and the legacy he built continue to guide us every day.

Pete, thank you. We’re proud to carry it forward.

⭐Employee Spotlight: Haley Sparling, Controller⭐

Haley leads our accounting department and has been with Korellis for 9 years.

When she was nominated, one thing stood out right away, how naturally she lives out our core values. Always willing to help, especially with financial and payroll questions, she takes the time to walk people through situations step by step. It’s not just about giving answers, she makes sure people feel confident and understand the “why” behind things.

She also creates an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions. That’s been especially noticeable over the past few weeks as teams have worked through budgeting. Even with a high volume of questions, she has remained patient, open, and committed to helping others learn.

Beyond day to day support, she leads her team with trust and understanding, always focused on setting them up for success. She also brings a thoughtful perspective to leadership conversations, speaking up and challenging ideas when needed, always with our people in mind.

She’s a great example of what it looks like to support others and grow together. Thank you, Haley! We’re so grateful for the leadership you bring to Korellis.
