A great project takes more than one trade.

While many people know Korellis for roofing, our carpentry team plays an important role in helping bring commercial and industrial projects to life.

From framing and decking to siding, fascia, parapet walls, and structural support work, their craftsmanship helps ensure projects are built right and built to last.

We're proud of the care and attention our carpenters bring to their work every day. Their work may not always be the first thing people see, but it's a big part of the quality and service our customers count on every day.

⭐Foreman Spotlight: Kyle Whisker, Carpentry Foreman⭐

During his year with Korellis, Kyle Whisker has quickly made an impact with his experience, craftsmanship, and the steady leadership he brings to every project. With 20 years in the construction industry, he has built a reputation as someone who takes pride in his work, values doing things the right way, and is always willing to share what he's learned with others.

Throughout his career, Kyle has contributed to projects including Ford Assembly Plant in Chicago, Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, Banc Calumet in Hammond, Centier Bank in Highland, and Toyota Hoist in East Chicago. No matter the project, he's known for paying close attention to the details and seeing the job through with the same level of care from start to finish.

According to his superintendent, Kyle's passion for his craft is evident in everything he does. He's the kind of foreman who leads by example and takes time to help younger crew members develop their skills and confidence in the field. Project Feature: Ford Chicago Assembly Plant

A one-week shutdown window. A holiday work schedule. Extreme summer heat. Multiple contractors working throughout the facility.

That's where planning, teamwork, and experience make all the difference.

During Ford Chicago Assembly Plant's annual shutdown, our team completed a full tear-off and roof replacement in just one week. Despite complex site logistics and last-minute material challenges, the team stayed focused, adapted quickly, and ultimately completed the project ahead of schedule.

To keep the project moving safely and efficiently, crews installed temporary walkways and ramps to protect existing roof areas while accessing the work zone. Special care was also taken to protect critical equipment inside the facility, helping ensure production could resume without interruption when the shutdown ended.

This project is a great example of what can be accomplished when challenges are met with adaptability, strong leadership, and a shared commitment to delivering for the customer.

Special recognition goes to Foremen Jim Booker, Kevin Cooper, Antonio Sanyet, and Anthony Budak for leading the effort and helping keep the project on schedule. Great work by the entire team.

Thank you to everyone involved for your hard work and dedication. We're proud of what continues to accomplish.

We were happy to be back at Purdue Northwest’s Roaring Back to School Giveaway!

Our team spent the event meeting local students and families, sharing information about Korellis, and running a fun game of “Pin the Roofer on the Ladder.” Everyone who completed the game received a prize.

Korellis was proud to sponsor the event, but the real credit goes to our team members, who generously provided all of the donations. Their support helped local students start the school year with supplies, snacks, and a little extra encouragement.

Thank you to Myra Serrano, Eliseth Barajas, Jobanny Herrera, and everyone on our team who helped make the back to school season a little brighter for families in our community.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at National Night Out!

Our team members, Myra Serrano and Leslie Aldrich, had a great time connecting with local families and future "roofers" as kids designed and installed their own shingles on our interactive display. Their creativity was incredible, and we loved sharing a little roofing knowledge along the way.

We're proud to support events that bring our community together and strengthen the connections that make Hammond such a great place to call home!
