This customer had water leaking into their finished basement from what they thought was a main sewer line leak. Turned out that the sewer line wasn’t leaking, water was getting in from the pe*******on through the wall from outside rain/ground water. I found two gutter downspouts that dumped directly onto that exterior wall. After the few days of heavy rains we just had, they started to get water inside of the basement. We advised them to install downspout extensions to get the rain water away from the foundation.
