We are officially using Dynascape software! This upgrade even gives us the option to make 3D models of the proposed landscapes to show our clients. They can see exactly what it’s going to look like from all sides!

The Weeping Norway Spruce! It’s like a waterfall of evergreen showing off in your yard all year round. Slow growing, but reaches 8-12 feet tall. A focal point that draws attention and conversation. Wait til you see this one in the snow 😍

So today’s landscape plant is one that I am so biased towards. The Ginkgo biloba also known as the Ginkgo tree!

This tree is amazing and unique in so many ways. One of the only trees with parallel leaf veins on its fan shaped leaves. It is one of the brightest fall colors in my opinion with its remarkable yellow change.

It can tolerate all sorts of urban pollution and works in zones 3-8. So works in Ohio! Can really vary in height, but it grows about 5-8 feet wide. From China and a species that is over 300 million years old!

Today’s landscape plant is the Burning Bush!

Talk about a pop for your fall landscape with this color. It’s native land is China, Japan, and Korea…but wow does it do well here in Ohio. When it is in your landscape and it is fall, you literally can’t miss it.

4-8 feet tall and wide. Deciduous ornamental shrub that can be planted in a headge row or all on its own.

Today’s featured landscape plant is the Bloomerang Lilic Shrub!

This incredibly disease resistant varietal is about 4-5 feet tall and wide. It’s deep purple blooms seem to never let up. With buds emerging in mid-spring, this eye catcher takes a brief break to form new growth, and then continues its blooming from mid summer all the way to frost.

Butterflies love this plant, and it is even deer resistant. Neat, clean looking shape to this lilac too! Thrives in zones 3-7 so it’s great for our zone 6 area here in Ohio.
