This yard was an embarrassment to the homeowner. Patchy. Bare spots everywhere. Dead grass that no amount of watering was going to fix.
They'd tried everything. Seed. Fertilizer. Different lawn companies telling them the same thing.
The real problem? Poor grading and a drainage issue that was killing the grass from underneath. Water was sitting where it shouldn't. Nothing was ever going to grow right until that got fixed.
So here's what we actually did:
-Stripped everything down to bare dirt
-Brought in our skid steer and regraded the entire front yard for proper drainage
-Installed a river rock drainage channel to move water away from the foundation and out of the yard
-Laid fresh sod across the full front lawn
One day. Complete transformation.
This is the yard the neighbors are going to be staring at now.
