What does it take to complete a sill and corner post project?

Prep: Removing all deteriorated materials.
Support: Shoring up the area to ensure your home stays fully supported.
Craftsmanship: Fitting the new post seamlessly into the original structure.
Finish: Completing the exterior touches so it's ready for fresh paint.

If you suspect your home's sill plate is compromised, call us at 860-412-5145.

Left unaddressed, rot can quietly compromise your home’s structure over time. The primary culprit behind most post and beam replacements is water intrusion into the main structural timbers, which often shows up as separating floorboards, shifting walls, or new cracks forming in your plaster and drywall.

If you have a home built before 1900 and are concerned about maintaining the structural integrity of your historic building, give us a call at 860-412-5145.
