If you are one of our 500+ customers that we installed a home standby generator...here are a few suggestions for the impending snow storm:

1) If your generator is doing its weekly test run...you are good to go!
2) If you loose power and your generator cuts on...do not cut it off!! Let it run until your power comes back on.
3) If you aren't sure if regular power is back on, please call Dominion Energy at 866-366-4357. Ask if the power has been restored BEFORE you turn off your generator.
4) Please do not overload your generator. Only use what's absolutely necessary to get by.
5) If you run your generator over 50 hours during a storm your generator will need another maintenance asap.
6) Stay safe, call us if you need us and if you don't have a home standby generator....consider one!
