Meet Doug Hansen!

A hands-on, dedicated professional with a sincere love & passion for playing and teaching the game of golf. Doug comes to us with a very impressive professional and teaching background. Doug took on his first role as an assistant golf professional at just 19 years of age in 1977 at The Mill River Club in Oyster Bay, New York. After working his way up the ranks thru several premier private clubs in New York, Doug accepted a position as the Head Golf professional at The Canyon Club in Armonk, New York, which he ran for 28 years. Doug was elected to the PGA of America as a lifetime member in 1982 and reached PGA of America – Quarter century club status in 2007. Now a PING Tech Rep, Doug will not only be a major asset to our facility as a top-level teacher, but also as a custom club fitter and member of PING staff.

Doug is now available for lessons at The Golf Loft.

On November 20th, we lost Gary L. Mummert to cancer. He was our guiding light & role model, not only in business, but also in life. He left behind a road map of his beliefs imprinted on us. We will do our best to follow in his footsteps and continue his legacy that he worked every day of his life to build.
