GASP! We are doing something very few of you believe we actually do and yet you constantly encourage us to do: we are on VACATION!! We will be incommunicado for the next week as we take some much needed time to spend with family resting (ok, maybe not so much) and simply enjoying life. If you have an emergency, feel free to reach out so we can connect you with someone who can help, otherwise, we look forward to responding to all your work-related questions once we return next Monday, August 24. Feel free to shoot us an e-mail or a FB message and we will respond to those in the order they are received once we return. May your week be blessed and stress-free as we are hoping is ours!!

Just saw a notification from Facebook congratulating us on reaching 501 followers. That's CRAZY! There are more than 500 people who are interested in what WE do?!?! This is definitely not something Tom and I ever expected to have. When we started this business just over 5 years ago, it was simply a way for Tom to take back control of his life and stop working himself into the ground. And now, here we are, with over 500 followers and a schedule we have a hard time making room in for time off.

It has been an incredible 5 years and we have made so many friends and our family has grown more than we ever could have imagined. So many of you who follow this page have come into our lives in the last 5 years and we are the better for it. It has been an honor and a privilege to be allowed into your homes for big projects and small ones. Thank you all for just being amazing. God has been so abundantly good to by bringing all of you into our lives and we cannot be more grateful.

Here is to another 5 years of making your homes more beautiful as you do the same for our lives.

And we are all done here until next year. Love working for folks who have told us they will miss us while we are gone.

End of day Thursday pictures. We are at a standstill waiting (no fault of ours) on flooring, shower shelves, and the medicine cabinet. We are on our already previously scheduled vacation next week so we made sure to get this bathroom to a fully functional place for the customer.

When the customer thinks the color she chose is too pink for her kitchen, you repaint it. The colors are so close but there was just too much pink to make her happy. Original is Spun Sugar and she is much happier now with Sweet Orange. (Spun Sugar is on the right while Sweet Orange is above the cabinets.)
