Design season is in full swing for Spring 2026 installations! The layout phase is one of our favorite parts of the process. These clients have a beautiful new build home and they’re looking to have the outside turned into a lush cottage style garden, with plenty of evergreen screens to add privacy.🌲🌲🌲

The only existing vegetation is the Sassafras and White Pine Groves. Everything else will be installed. And we haven’t even gotten to the backyard design yet! That will be the next phase. 🌳

We sent over two layout options for the client to view, and ultimately combined aspects of both for final layout. During the initial consultation, the client was unaware of a 10ft setback that was to be managed by the development, so that was an additional change made to the final layout.
Now it’s time in add in plant species before the final design meeting! 🌿

We will also be managing the backyard woods connecting to this property, and clearing out invasives so we can replant with natives in a later phase of the project. Such a wonderful multi-year project! 💚

This seeding happened last week before all the glorious rain we got this week from hurricane Erin. What perfect timing! We seeded an amazing seed mix from that was specifically chosen for the site conditions. In another month, we'll plug select species that either don't do well from seed, or that we want in very specific locations. We couldn't be more excited about this project!💚🌿

What a difference two years makes!💚🌿

These clients wanted a wildlife haven in their backyard, and we delivered! The pollinators and hummingbirds have been especially vocal about their love of this space🐝🦋

The existing fence made a great backdrop for taller plants, while the structure and form paired nicely with whimsical grasses and bright blooms. Looking forward to watching this beauty age like fine wine!🍷🌸

This spring installation we did for is starting to come into its own💚

The owner asked for a variety of edible and medicinal species that could be used in the salon, and we delivered!

Here’s just a small example of the species that can be used in helping them care for their clients.

And we’re looking forward to teaching them more about the exceptional native plants they have bringing a whimsical beauty to their outdoor space🥰

It’s fall clean-up season, and we love that our wheelbarrow full of “clean-up” material has more color in it than the average garden bed this time of year.

Pennsylvanians rely so heavily on non-native, ecologically dead, mums to fill the blooming void during fall, because chances are they “weeded” all of their fall blooming natives. Remember, if plants growing in your garden beds haven’t bloomed through the spring and summer, they most likely were waiting until now to expose their brilliant colors!💚
