A little project in Harrisburg finished up this afternoon.

This house was completely stripped down and gutted and we were there to install new shower and temporary toilet during rough in stages.

Homeowners ran into a few issues along the way during construction and we were there quickly and able to jump any hurdles we needed to.

All new kitchen and main bathroom sinks + fixtures were installed this afternoon. 🚽 🚿

It’s crazy to watch an existing house become a whole new home within the same 4 walls.

A busy busy week for Premier Plumbing LLC. Weather was perfect for wrapping up our final days at this remodel we have been working on north of Crooks.

Overhauled 3 1/2 bathrooms, a laundry, and a kitchen

- Removed a jetted tub to make room for a massive walk in shower in Master bathroom; 2 shower heads and a handheld on a slide bar
- New wall mount faucet in 1/2 bath
- Kitchen repiped to accommodate the island sink and new appliances
- Laundry sink added as well as a refreshment station for the fur babies.
- New toilets throughout

Other house keeping items included replacing ball valves on each of 2 water heaters. Also flushing them.

We have had numerous 📞 phone calls of people wanting to remove existing and install a bigger unit or add a second unit because they feel like they “run out of hot water faster” or “takes forever to heat back up”

If 5️⃣0️⃣ gallons was good enough 4️⃣ months ago, why isn’t it now? Sediment in a water heater will reduce the performance and allow minerals and rust back into your water.

💦 It’s recommended that you have your new water heater flushed annually, in some cases, even twice annually. Depending on your water quality. If an annual flush hasn’t been completed in quite some time, please do not start flushing now. It may cause more harm than good at this point.

Removing said sediment yearly will reduce the risk of your tank rusting through and prolong the life of your heater.

Today, we were able to lend a helping hand to our friends at Midwest Excavating.
While installing a new septic tank, it was observed that the old cast iron had become heavily restricted from years of buildup, limiting flow and increasing the chance of backups. Removed the failing pipe, and installed new PVC to get everything flowing the way it should.

No washroom. No plumbing. No problem. 🚿✨

This basement had no bathroom rough in when we started. 5 gallon bucket in the floor as a “floor drain”. From breaking concrete and running new drains, we transformed an unused area into a fully functional bathroom.

Adding a basement bathroom isn’t just about convenience. It’s one of the best ways to increase the comfort, usability, and value of your home.
