Obsessed with weeding! Fun challenge on this one, getting them all by the roots. Those monsters look so tantalizing with their marigold-like leaves and little yellow flowers, but they turn crazy with spiked seeds if you let em go too long. And don't get me started on the Morning Glories that strangle every last plant you have! I hope her roses come back with some blooms before the summer's over. There were so many plants hidden underneath -- I didn't plant a thing! HA!

Too soon and too windy to even think of clearing the leaves from this easement today, (and might not even clear them this winter, such a great mulch!) but never too soon to clear weeds (!) and plant fall bulbs and seeds! Thanks to a neighbor on Freecycle for the Muscari (Grape Hyacinth), Cosmos seeds, and Blue Iris seeds, can't wait to see how they look next spring!

Just by chance, the owner posted a pic of his lovely patio from this morning -- I couldn't resist fishing back for a "before" photo. So happy about how the Crocosmia have filled in!
