Happy Easter!! This is our son’s room. One is afraid of the windows at night, and one has odd lighting preferences. So yes we know things are in weird spots. We had to reframe the exterior walls, so moved the big window to the other wall, replaced another window, new hang and finish. Taking spring break off gave us the time we needed for all this. For now we’re using colors of paint we have left over from other areas of the house. It’ll be a long visit at Home Depot with them picking out the colors they want, but hopefully soon. I’ll still post pics of we end up with for temporary colors. Just glad to finally be this far. 🩷

There was so much going on in this Gladwin basement! Replaced rips along the bottom, retaped blown out seams, replaced corner bead, full room hang, spot, some framing done. But it’s paint ready! I would have put before pictures on here but ehhh 50 pics already. I will get to organizing all that soon enough. I do believe the guy had this done for his mother as surprise while she was out of town. Im not quite sure I didn’t get nosey, maybe she did know. He was happy though, and I know she will be once she finally gets home!!

Edit: the room that isn’t finished had started getting a leak after the hang when that big rain came. I think he plans on getting that fixed for her as well. His own basement flooded also.
