🌼 May Electrical Tips for a Safe & Comfortable Home ☀️

As the weather warms up and you start spending more time outside, it’s the perfect time for a quick electrical check-in:

✔ Test your GFCI outlets (especially in bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoors)
✔ Make sure outdoor outlets have weatherproof covers
✔ Check extension cords for cracks, fraying, or wear
✔ Use only outdoor-rated cords and power strips outside
✔ Keep cords away from water and high-traffic areas

🌬️ Bonus Tip:
Set your ceiling fans to rotate counterclockwise for summer—this pushes cool air down and helps keep your space comfortable. And don’t forget to dust those blades before turning them on!

A few simple checks now can help keep your home safe, efficient, and ready for the season ahead ⚡

🌷⚡ March Into a Safer, Smarter Electrical System! ⚡🌷

Spring is almost here in Harrison! March is the perfect time to check in on your home or business’s electrical system after a long winter.

Melting snow, spring storms, and temperature swings can all impact your wiring and equipment.

This month, consider checking:
✔ Breaker panels for moisture or corrosion
✔ Outdoor outlets & lighting after winter weather
✔ Surge protection before spring storm season
✔ Smoke detectors & carbon monoxide detectors
✔ Overloaded circuits from winter heater use

A little preventative maintenance now can help you avoid unexpected outages later.

⚡ Electrical Safety Tip: Watch Out During the Thaw!

After weeks of freezing temps, melting snow and ice can create hidden electrical hazards around your home or business. Water + electricity is never a good mix.

As things warm up, check for:
✔ Extension cords sitting in puddles or snowmelt
✔ Outdoor outlets without weatherproof covers
✔ Garage/basement outlets near wet floors
✔ Flickering lights or tripped breakers after moisture exposure

If something looks questionable, don’t risk it — let a licensed electrician handle it safely.

AC Electrical Systems is here to help keep your home powered and protected all year long.

Stay safe, Harrison! 💙

⚡ AC Electrical Systems at the La Salle High School Alumni 2026 Sports Stag! ⚡

We had a great time attending the 2026 Sports Stag, an annual event supported by the La Salle High School Alumni to help raise funds that directly benefited all extracurricular activities for Cincinnati La Salle High School students. It was an incredible evening bringing together alumni, community members, and supporters for a great cause.

We were especially excited to meet Todd Frazier, former Cincinnati Reds player, whose stories and insights kept the sold-out crowd entertained all night.

Events like this truly make a difference, and it’s easy to see why the Sports Stag continues to be regarded as one of the premier alumni events in the city. Thank you to everyone who helped make the night such a success — we’re proud to support opportunities that positively impact students and their future.
