Another project in the books! This was one we’ve been looking forward to getting our hands on, and I’m really happy with the difference it made.

We tore out the old, overgrown landscaping and started fresh with a completely new layout. One of the biggest things we wanted to do differently was intentionally leave some negative space in the beds. The old landscape had matured to the point that everything was growing into each other and competing for space. The new layout gives each plant room to grow into its space while also leaving us areas to add seasonal color in the spring and fall.

Really happy with how it all came together. It looks like a completely different place!

Figured I’d throw this one back out there since it’s been a few weeks.

This was one of the more unique jobs we’ve done, and I know rubber mulch isn’t everyone’s first choice. Some people love it, some people hate it… but I think the transformation turned out pretty dang good.

We finished up this big landscape refresh yesterday for Ms. Jenny Pesch!

We took this tired, overgrown landscape and gave it a fresh start with a lot of cleanup, extensive pruning, fresh mulch, and over 20 new plants.

We also completely removed two landscape beds, brought in topsoil, and reseeded those areas to create more usable lawn space. To help keep everything looking its best, we finished the project with a pre-emergent application to reduce future w**d growth.

These transformations don’t happen overnight, but seeing the before and after makes every hour worth it. Thank you, Ms. Jenny, for trusting Lawn Works with your home!

Finished up this slate and pea gravel patio today.

This design gave the homeowners a nice outdoor space to enjoy while keeping a natural look that fits the property. Every project is different, and sometimes a simple solution is exactly what's needed.

Another transformation in the books!

This project started with a major cleanup and pruning to open everything back up and bring some definition to the landscape. We then added new foundation shrubs, installed 4 tons of rubber mulch, and finished it off with a custom landscape lighting system to showcase the home after dark.

The difference between day and night is incredible. The new lighting adds beauty, security, and curb appeal while highlighting the home’s architecture and landscape features.

Last night we completed this landscape lighting project for Mrs Sharon Collett, installing 18 landscape lights to highlight her home’s beautiful features and add safety, security, and curb appeal.

POV: The mowing list got finished early 🎣

With Sam Daniels on vacation, I told the guys if we could get the mowing list finished in a timely manner we could go fishing at the end of the week and that is exactly what we did!

What started as a normal mowing week somehow turned into:
✔️ crew chaos
✔️ Luke being late again..
✔️ and… a truck tire on fire in the woods?! 😅

We have had a few of our student customers graduate and are moving back home. While we are happy for them and thankful for their support during their time in the area, that also opens up some spots on our mowing route.

And honestly… he wasn’t wrong 😂

This project started with an overgrown backyard full of small trees and brush that had completely taken over. After getting everything opened up and cleaned out, we shifted to the front of the house and completely redid the landscape beds with new plants, irrigation, and fresh mulch.

Crazy what some cleanup and landscaping can do for a property.
