Building stronger communities starts with building stronger foundations. 🏗️

On April 30, Construx Co. President Larry Mason attended the 2026 Building Foundations Breakfast at the Connecticut Convention Center alongside Sarah Wadle of First Position Media, hosted by the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut to support housing stability and homelessness prevention in Greater Hartford.

Together, this year’s event raised an incredible $667,000 to help individuals and families access stable housing, emergency shelter, and critical community resources.

Project Update: Barclay Damon LLP (New Haven Long Wharf) 🏗️

Big progress happening at Barclay Damon LLP as we move closer to the finish line. The project remains on track for completion in early/mid June, with major milestones now in place:

✔️Carpet installed
✔️Tile installation underway
✔️Painting substantially complete
✔️Millwork nearly 100% complete
✔️Data & cabling complete
✔️Fire suppression complete
✔️Framing & drywall complete
✔️Door frames installed
✔️Ceilings mostly installed
✔️Emergency & exit lighting installed

Glazing channels are now installed, with glass scheduled to follow later this week into next week.

Great work by the entire team and trade partners keeping this project moving forward with precision and momentum.

Project Update: Barclay Damon LLP (New Haven Long Wharf) 🏗️

Progress is moving full speed ahead at Barclay Damon LLP — core systems are in place with HVAC, data/cabling, electrical, and plumbing all roughed in, setting the foundation for what’s next. Storefront glazing channels are installed, and glass installation is now underway, bringing natural light into the space.

Door frames are on site and being installed as drywall reaches near completion. Painting continues this week, with flooring set to begin next.

At Let’s Grow Hartford, the sales counter anchors the entire retail floor—featuring integrated display cases, a tiled face, butcher block countertops, and half-door detailing that brings both function and character together.

From slat walls designed for flexible merchandising to the suspended wood-plank ceiling and wraparound lighting at the entry, every element was built to shape the customer experience from the moment they walk in.
