What a beautiful day to be in the saddle! We rode 12.78 miles to Ozark Trail campground and had pizza 🍕 for lunch! So much fun and it was delicious too!! They have a beautiful campground! Another idea for a ride during open camping or during an organized ride too!

🚨 NO DETOUR TO BIG CREEK TRAIL RIDE! 🚨

We’ve been made aware that there is some confusing detour signage on Hwy 17 south of Houston, Missouri, due to a bridge closure.

🐴 Good news — this DOES NOT affect travel to Big Creek Trail Ride!

If you are traveling to Big Creek Trail Ride, you DO NOT need to take the posted detour. You can continue on your normal route to us.

Ready to hit the trails with us at Big Creek Trail Ride in Hartshorn, Missouri? Once you have reservations made, we’ve made registration quick and convenient!

📱 Simply scan the QR code in the picture with your phone’s camera. The code will take you directly to our registration form. Fill out your information and submit it — that’s it! Individual’s living at the same address may register on one form.

⭐ Feel free to register early before you arrive! Completing your registration ahead of time will save you time at check-in and help get you settled in and ready to enjoy your stay.

❤️ Your safety is important to us. Having the medical and emergency information you provide during registration readily available can be extremely beneficial should an emergency arise during your stay. It helps us have important information at our fingertips when every minute can matter.

The last ride of our 2026 spring season was June 7-13, 2026. We had a great crowd with several kids attending! It’s always good to see the future riders attend. We had 11 states represented by the trail riders, including Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Arizona, Oklahoma, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. Looking forward to seeing y’all in the fall! Happy trails! Come visit the campground during the summer for open camping and riding on your own! Have a great summer!
