Job Description:

If you like working out doors than this is the job for you! Basic ground work and area clean up. Drive truck with trailer, strong attention to detail and instructions. Self motivated and strong work ethic. Must have driver’s license. Preferred 1 year of tree service but willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities Include:

Assist aerial workers and other ground crew members in all aspects of tree care and removal.
Keep the job site safe & organized, drag & chip brush, rake & clean up the job site.
Be able to work with and without direct supervision.
Drive trucks with trailers, including daily safety inspection before and after operating.
Operate equipment including chainsaw, skid steer, leaf blower, etc. including periodic maintenance/repairs.
Work safely and comply with company policies and OSHA regulations for tree care operations, including wearing all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as provided by company.
Complete and retain basic skills training. Willingness to pursue additional training and certification as needed.
Perform traffic and pedestrian control, and other relevant duties as operationally necessary.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be able to stand, walk, bend, and carry more than 50lbs.
Have work experience with physical labor outdoors such as landscaping, farming, logging, construction, etc. Experience with equipment, chainsaws, truck/trailer driving and backing skills is a plus.
Mechanical experience is a plus.

Be motivated to continuously expand and improve skill set.
Maintain a valid driver's license. CDL is NOT required, but is a plus.

Full-time Temp for 6 weeks.

Looking for a dependable team member to help out with many duties for a temporary time, that can become permanent next year.

Job duties include use of chainsaw, trimmers, skid steer, and more. Daily maintenance of chainsaws, help climber or bucket operator with ropes and giving tools as required. Practice safety, being alert at all times. Loading dump trailer and dumping it at specified location. Other duties as required at each jobsite.
