Flooring update The Station at Market
Sanded, protected, and ready for walking!

Finished this quick pre move-in bath reno!

- ripped out the builder grade tile, tub, and vanity.
- added a new shower light and outlet
- relocated vanity plumbing and replaced shower plumbing
- installed new tile floor
- installed new tub and shower insert, vanity, and fixtures
- fresh coat of paint
Happy with this quick turnaround and hope the new owners enjoy!

This weekend's progress! The Station at Market

This project involved removing several walls, relocating electric, removing a bunch of shelving, and ripped up vinyl tiles. We then did a floor coating and painted the block walls with Drylock. This space might get finished at a later date, but for now it is opened up, cleaned up, and brightened up.

We went here to remove flooring in preparation for a floor drain and uncovered a mess!

It was window weekend at The Station at Market !
These were boarded up for decades and we had no idea the old frames were still there for 2 of the 3 windows. Sadly they were too damaged to reuse.

Here is my long overdue post about our big undertaking! Many of you have heard about this, but here is a peak at our progress.

Located at 11 Market St, Hatfield. (The old train station)

My wife Rebecca Cox and I (mostly my wife) will be opening a coffee shop/ retail store where she will sell baked goods (with regular, gf and vegan options) and a mix of locally made items like pottery ,candles etc. There will also be a kids area with lots of books. We hope to host events on the property from kids craft workshops, to pet adoptions, to farmers markets.

There has been A LOT of work getting to this point, but most of it has been things like wiring, framing, demo, settling on layout and placement, plumbing, permits, ect. Now that we are rounding a corner and starting to get some spackle and paint up, it is starting to take shape. I will be posting about this ongoing project frequently as we tackle some of the finishes.
