Class A Truck Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Tallahassee, FL Area
Pyramid Excavation – A leading excavation company serving the Tallahassee region, specializing in site preparation, land clearing, and heavy machinery transport.
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transporting large machinery and operating various dump trailers and trucks, with a solid understanding of excavation work and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport large machinery on lowboy or flatbed transport trailers.
Operate large debris dump trailers and tri-axle dump trucks as needed.
Assist with basic operation of heavy equipment on job sites.
Perform general excavation-related tasks, demonstrating knowledge of industry practices.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL with a minimum of 5 years experience
Proven experience in loading, securing, and transporting heavy machinery.
Familiarity with dump trailers, tri-axle dump trucks, and basic heavy equipment operation.
Understanding of excavation work, including site safety and best practices.
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
