Lack of proper footer caused these stairs to pull away from the house and split diagonally down the center.

When demo’d, it became obvious this was just a hollow shell of stairs filled with loose masonry, and loose sand. 🫤 Just adding insult to injury, and making the failure rapidly progress.

We tore out the stairs, and rebuilt new ones. These stairs were an interesting project, for sure!!!

These were completely failed with a tree growing out of them.

Removed tree & luckily, these old clay style bricks were still on the property. We were able to relay the stairs with the old clay style brick.

These bricks were so much fun to work with!
