Did you know today was World Whale Day? We celebrated with a visit to the New Bedford Whaling Museum. While we were in the area we also stopped by to see the New Bedford Hurricane Barrier and then had a delicious lunch at Moby Dick Brewing Co before watching “In the Whale”, a movie about the Provincetown lobster diver who was chomped on by a humpback. 🐋

Thank you to the for their generosity in hosting a reception for this weekends’ Boatbuilders Show on Cape Cod exhibitors. It is a jewel of a museum that we will certainly return to and highly recommend. We didn’t get any pictures of the indoor exhibits, but we did take these in the boathouse.

Last topcoat tonight on this Annapolis Wherry that has been in the shop for restoration and refinishing. She’ll be outfitted with a new Piantedosi sliding seat and Dreher carbon sculls. After that, she’ll be ready to go up on the website for sale. Check our website next week for full details.
