We can do better than this. It's time to pay attention & do what is needed to protect our community.

Today, October 8th, we were notified of 34 COVID-19 cases for Hill County, we have had 6 people meet the criteria for recovery and 1 case has been hospitalized.
The cases include:
1 male and 1 female in the 0-9 age range
2 males and 3 females in their teens
1 male and 1 female in their 20's
2 males and 4 females in their 30's
2 females in their 40's
2 males and 2 females in their 50's
2 males and 3 females in their 60's
1 male and 4 females in their 70's
2 females in their 80's
1 female in her 90's
Of the 34 cases, 23 cases were identified through contact tracing, 10 with unknown exposure, and 1 with possible travel related exposure. Public health contact tracing and investigation is currently ongoing.

Please help us slow the spread of COVID-19 in Hill County. Stay home when you are sick, wear a cloth face covering when in public, social distance when possible and wash your hands frequently.
