🏡 MONDAY HOME FEATURE | Flambeau River Home

Some dreams take decades to become reality.

Our client first envisioned this home when he was just 18 years old. Years later, he turned to Hill Construction to bring that vision to life.

That same fall, we had the home designed, planned, and construction underway!

From the first stages of framing to the finished home, this time-lapse captures the transformation of a lifelong dream into reality.

A special thank-you to Nelson Lumber and Home Inc, who supplied the building materials and captured the time-lapse footage that lets us share this incredible transformation!

Some dreams are worth building. 🏡

🏡 MONDAY HOME FEATURE | Flambeau River Home

Some dream homes are years in the making. This one started with a vision at just 18 years old.

Our client had dreamed of building this home since he was a teenager. Years later, when delays with another contractor kept pushing his plans back, he turned to Hill Construction. We worked together to bring his vision to life, completing the design and planning process and breaking ground that same fall!

The result? A beautiful custom home designed for gathering, entertaining, and making memories.

A few of our favorite features:
▪️A stunning great room with a massive stone fireplace, rustic timber beams, and expansive windows
▪️Custom cabinetry showcasing a lifetime of memories and mementos
▪️A chef's kitchen featuring rustic alder cabinetry and quartz countertops
▪️A main-floor primary suite with a walk-in tile shower
▪️Three upstairs guest suites, each with its own tiled shower
▪️ A spacious three-season porch connecting indoor living with the outdoors
▪️A finished, attached four-car garage
▪️Durable LP SmartSide siding and a snap-lock metal roof for low-maintenance living

From the circle-sawn pine ceiling beams to the thoughtful layout, every detail reflects a home built around the owner's vision.

There's something pretty special about helping someone build the home they've been dreaming about for decades. ❤️

At Hill Construction, we're proud to turn those dreams into places people can call home.

Meet the Team: Bobby

For over 13 years, Bobby has been part of the Hill Construction family, watching the company grow from Jeremy's pole shed into the team we are today.

His favorite part of the job? Installing hardwood floors and seeing a house transform into a home.

What keeps him coming back is the people. Bobby enjoys working alongside great teammates, mentoring others, and helping build strong crews.

When he's not on the job, you'll find him ice fishing after a fresh snowfall, drinking a pot of coffee, or enjoying a Wagyu filet at J.B's Moose Lake Shack

His advice for anyone considering construction:

"Work hard, watch, and always be ready to learn. You can pick up a lot just by paying attention."

🏡 Bobby is currently onsite at The Preserve helping bring our new Scandi Model Home to life.
