Hazard High School Golf Spotlight
In 1977, Scott Miller joined the Hazard High School Golf team as a 7th grader and continued play for the bulldogs through his senior season in 1982.
In '82, Miller won the individual regional championship and was runner-up in the KHSAA golf state tournament at Lindsey Golf Course in Fort Knox, finishing only behind Bruce Oldendick of Boone County.
Miller was awarded a golf scholarship to play at Morehead State University, where he had a solid career, earning All Ohio Valley Conference honors.
Miller joined the HHS Bulldog Golf coaching staff in 2023 and was a major part of the golf team's success last season.
