One of our apprentices needs our help.

Thomas Arnold, a third-year apprentice with IBEW Local 1105, was seriously injured in a head-on car accident in May. He's out of work recovering, and his family—including his 7-month-old daughter—is facing financial hardship.

The apprenticeship is built on partnership and community. If you're able, please donate and share. Every contribution helps.

Thank you for supporting one of our own.

We had a great time visiting Mid-East CTC and connecting with their Electrical Technologies, Power Line, and HVAC/R students.

Our goal is simple—show students what a career in the electrical trade actually looks like day-to-day, and how the apprenticeship can open doors to real opportunities right here in our region.

From hands-on demonstrations to conversations about wages, benefits, and career growth, these students got a closer look at what it means to build a future in the electrical industry.

We appreciate the opportunity to partner with Mid-East and support the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

Proud to share this announcement! 👇

This is just one of several major investments happening across our region right now, and it’s all made possible by the hard work of the men and women of IBEW Local 1105.

This funding isn’t coming from nowhere — it’s built from the contributions of apprentices, journeymen, and every classification that makes up our local union. The same people who are out there every day building the future are also giving back to the communities they live in.

From data centers and advanced manufacturing to powerhouses, solar fields, and critical infrastructure projects, these investments are driving real impact — not just in industry, but in our schools, youth programs, and neighborhoods.

This is what it looks like when a workforce invests back into its own community. 💪⚡

Huge respect to everyone involved — and a big congratulations to the Tri-Valley Youth Baseball League!

***MAJOR TRI VALLEY YOUTH BASEBALL INVESTMENT***

DRESDEN, OH — The Tri-Valley Youth Baseball League (TVYBL) has announced a new partnership with IBEW Local Union 1105, securing nearly $200,000 in support for the program.

The funding will be used for key facility upgrades, including replacing fencing on multiple fields, constructing new batting cages, upgrading dugouts, and purchasing an infield groomer to improve field quality.

The investment is expected to benefit players, families, and the broader community while strengthening the future of youth baseball in Dresden.

What a blessing! Thank you IBEW Local 1105!
