I couldn’t let the last day of May go by without posting about Mental Health Awareness Month.
If there’s one thing l’ve learned, it’s that none of us are meant to carry the weight alone.
Some of the most important conversations in my life have happened in trucks, on jobsites, over lunch, and with people who were willing to be honest about what they were going through.
Everyone needs to have someone in their corner. A mentor who’s been there before.
A friend who tells the truth.
A brother who notices when something feels off.
Life gets a lot heavier when you try to carry it alone but I also know it’s easy to forget that people are willing to help, when life gets tough.
Be the one to check in on your people.
The conversation you almost don’t have might be the one that matters most.

In custom home building, we all know changes are inevitable. The goal isn’t to eliminate them, it’s to stay ahead of them before they become costly problems.

In my opinion, this is where a great designer becomes incredibly valuable.

A thoughtful designer doesn’t just make a home look beautiful. They help bring clarity to literally thousands of decisions before construction even begins, creating a level of alignment that makes the entire building process way more efficient and intentional.
When the builder, designer, and client are all working together early on, the final result is almost always stronger because of it.
And you can for sure feel the difference in the final result.

There’s just something about the framing stage.
Up until this point, it’s been plans, permits, meetings, and a lot of work behind the scenes, then all of a sudden, the house starts taking shape and you can finally walk it.

Never gets old seeing it come to life.
Gotta feeling you’re going to love this one.
