Perc test are probably the most important part of installing a septic system. This test determines how big the system is, how deep it can be, what kind of system is required, and in many cases it can determine whether or not a lot is buildable. The entire septic system is designed and built based off the numbers that come from this test. If done improperly the entire system will be thrown off.

We have conducted over a thousand of these tests all across the State of Utah and know how Utah soils perc. We ensure every system we install is sized appropriately for the soils and the percolation rate of those soils.

Most people never see what goes underground. This lot had challenges of tight clay soils, limited space, and setbacks from retention ponds and a swimming pool. This project features over 5000 gallons in tankage, two treatment filters and a pressurized drainfield. We have gotten approvals in some of the most difficult sites in the State. This home sits approximately 50' of the North Fork of the Provo River. Working together with several government agencies we were able to come up with a solution that protected the water while allowing the homeowner to use their property. This system sits a mere 30' from the Provo River and all these years later is still producing clean water.

This projected required retrofitting an existing septic system with nitrogen reduction technology so that a barn could be added to the property. To minimize impact to the property we set our own tanks, coordinated horizontal boring under the driveway and minimized our footprint with excavation and spoils.
