Most of our posts are focused on our residential customers but that’s not all we do! This is one of the many power supplies we have been installing for a local communications companies. These power supplies keep your cable and internet powered up in the case when there is a power outage. These are all around NKY and Ohio. You probably have one in your neighborhood that you have may have never noticed.

With the fuel prices at record highs, we have seen a surge in EV purchases.
Not a bad choice! 😎
If you decide to go this route we can help. The chargers for EV’s can use a lot of power. They require special outlets that are rated for continuous duty. This is typically not a DIY or handyman project.
The electrical inspector requires load calculations for your home to be submitted before approving EV charger installations. Pictured here, are two chargers we have recently installed. (Lexus and Tesla). Let us know if you have an EV project!

What is a HVLS fan? 🪭
✅ High Volume Low Speed Fan. We recently installed three of these 14’ Hunter ECO fans a long time customer that we have worked with for over 10 years!
⚙️Each fan is on a Variable Speed Drive with with its own Individual controller.
✅Studies have shown these HVLS fans can save as much as 50% on heating bills and 20-30% in the summer! ⚒️🛠️⚒️🛠️💪

Rain out? Not today! We pushed through since we had an outage scheduled with the utility company to get this customers electric meter repaired.

Your electric panel is essentially the heart of your home. It sends electric out to all of the electrical devices throughout your home. Eventually your panel will become outdated and need to be replaced. I equate this to your home needing a heart transplant. It is a job that takes planning and preparation to ensure it is done correctly and efficiently. Having your tools clean and ready and having the correct materials ready when the job starts is critical. Also, using someone that is licensed and making sure the project is inspected is required by law and ensures that the job is done correctly and limits liability. Started this day out with outlet and lighting repairs in Covington. Then, on to a LED retrofit project on Industrial Rd. In Florence. Wrapped things up with a project for Bigby’s in the snow.

Here is a disconnect we replaced for three phase elevator feed in Covington Ky. The old one was malfunctioning and the knife blades were not seating all the way causing the elevator to shut down intermittently.

Lightning Strike?
Apparently the lightning storm on 8-19-2025 caused a good amount of damage to homes in NKY.
We received calls from two customers yesterday that had lightning strike near their homes and both habe damage to their electrical systems. We have a comprehensive lightning strike check list that we use to evaluate your homes electrical system if this happens to you. ⚡️ ⛈️
We also have multiple options for adding a whole home surge arrestor to help take the hit if this unfortunate event happens to your home in the future.
