This bathroom remodel consisted of a complete demo, removing all components, tup, trim, drywall and even the closet door and jamb. Refraimed the closet to be a flush drywall opening. R-13 Rockwool insulation installed for sound proofing. Installed the shower handle on right entry side for adjusting temp before entering. We used a Delta diverter valve for a wand or from ceiling rainhead. Removed the subfloor boards to install plywood flush to top of floor joist to make a threshold free shower pan using floor leveler and a Schluter pan.We used a 36 x 72 glass panel w a robe hook instead of a door to shower. This had the same floor tile as our previously completed bathroom in same house. The wall tile the same but a different color. I used nickle aluminum tile edging throughout. Retrimmed the window w solid wood, stained to better match the vanity, and painted the sashes the wall color. Wall paint was carried onto ceiling as well as the entry door casing and baseboards for a simpler color scheme. Rewired to install a three way toggle switch at door for overhead light, vent fan, and a 4" light in the closet for better visibility into the shelves. At the vanity a gfi outlet w hdmi and type c charger as well as a dimmer switch for the vanity lights. Loading off this gfi an outlet was installed below toilet for bidet option. The tub drain was replumbed to accommodate a 2" trap and pipe to main. I tiled the back wall of the niche using the shower floor mosaic just to tie things together and add a focal point.
